Re: Gyn -Endometrial CancerFrom: Douglas J. Krell MD (djkrell@drkrell.com)Fri May 21 11:05:22 1999
A 51 year old post menopausal woman from a surrounding community self referred. She underwent vaginal hysterectomy for abnormal bleeding. Pathology showed Grade 1 endometrial CA. Superficial invasion of the myometrium was noted in one focal location. She has been advised to have an exploratory lap, BSO, and to stay off estrogen. I think this is overkill. What would you recommend? Douglas Krell MD

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
