In an intra peritoneal cystectomy the procedure is totally intraperitoneal, the cyst wall is removed through a trocar or with a bag. A transparietal is more like an open appendectomy where the procedure is outside. In that case of big dermoid the cyst is right under the incision you can empty it easily with a big suction canula (remove teeth, bones and hair), then pull the ovary outside to finish the procedure. -- Roberto Pasqualetti wrote:
