Triple screenFrom: Amarnath Bhide (agb@vsnl.com)Fri May 14 09:56:02 1999
There is no age/triple screen result at which the risk is 100% or 0%. There is a numerical risk, which the mother decides if it is 'high' or 'low' for her. I think the discussion about what the future course of action would be, should have been talked about, before embarking on the test. Dr. Amarnath Bhide MD, MRCOG, DNB Professor of Ob-Gyn, Seth G.S. medical College and N. Wadia Maternity Hospital, Bombay, India.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
