15 year old colposcopyFrom: Freda Seddon (fseddon@interlog.com)Wed May 12 22:25:25 1999
New client booked yesterday. She has a history if "abnormal paps" since age 15 and had colposcopy at a Sick Childrens Hospital (very well respected ). Now age 28, G2, P1. 1. How common is it for such a young woman to have this problem? 2. Does this raise the issue of very early sexual activity, STD;s ? I would be interested in other providers response to this history. thanks, Freda

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
