Anaesthesia for emergency C-section from Suresh DeshpandeFrom: Madhumita Roy (madhumita_roy@hotmail.com)Sun May 9 07:49:26 1999
9th May, 1999 Dr. Deshpande's experience of spinal anaesthesia causing uterine contraction leading to an extremely difficult delivery of the babies at caesarean section was interesting reading. Can you please provide a reference that shows such an effect? I, personally have neither experienced nor heard of such a thing. Rupak Ranjan Roy MD, DNB, MRCOG

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
