I don't really know since I don't do this kind of surgery. You should ask your surgeon what his/her rates are after this surgery. In general, I recommend that people ask this question preoperatively. Then depending on the answer, they will have some knowledge of the frequency with which their surgeon does this procedure. RDB R. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
