In a message dated 3/30/99 11:55:50 AM, gloria_lemay@ultranet.ca writes: << A solution of formaldehyde was accidentaly poured into her vapourizer while she was in the hospital.>> that's nothing. when i was in med school a reporter for the Miami Herald came in for a neuro procedure; somehow when the epidural was being placed the formulin to be used for the specimen was mistaken for lidocaine and placed into his spinal canal. he died slowly about a week later. brutal.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
