Re: cervicitisFrom: Braun, R. Daniel (rbraun@iupui.edu)Tue Mar 30 04:42:50 1999
What is generally called cervicitis these days is "Chlamydial" in origin and is diagnosed by seeing pus coming out of the cervix. The problem that I have seen is that a lot of people are making the diagnosis if they see WBC's on wet smear. That is not "Cervicitis". Dan R. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
