In our hospital from the National Health Service of Spain, we have one case of a invasive cervix cancer, detected first by pap smear. We also were in trouble to contant her and made a biopsy, the result was the same. afterwards we sent her three letters (one normal, one certificated and other with acknowledgement of receipt ). In all cases she answered that she was OK and she didn´t want more atentions. What are we supossed to do now?. Are we responsibles of that patient?. In fact she didn´t signed the IC of no-treatment.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
