Dear list friends: I need your comments 32y/o G3P2 No previuos pap smears 9 weeks of pregnancy... Start with vaginal bleeding, during the physical exam normal US scan of pregnancy, and a 2 cm tumor on cervix...biopsy positive to invasive carcinoma...So it's a IB carcinoma and first trimester pregnancy... I attached a guide for the treatment of those cases..the guide propose SURGERY with the fetus inside the uterus and postoperative radiation therapy...I agreed...but, who consider other management.. Thanks

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
