FERT:unruptured follicular cystsFrom: Antonio Valdez (avaldez@infolnk.net)Mon Mar 8 14:31:59 1999
Dear listmembers: I need an advice: 30y/o 5 years of infertility ..male factor with oligozpermia and anovulatory cicles for PCOD.. Under treatment with IUI with HOE with fertinorm+pergonal 1rst cycle 3 months ago; good follicular response on day 13 bilateral follicles 4 of them greater tahn 18mm...HCG shoot and IUI with a good sample with 40 mill/ml 60% motility..NO pregnancy, and on day 21 the same follycular measuments by US!!!... So i give her 2 months rest witn OCs This month, we try again...and on day 2 there were some resydual cysts on both ovaries, the greateast of 8mm, so we decide to stimulate again with fertinorm/pergonal, great response on day 13 bilateral follicles 4 of them greater than 18mm..HCG shoot, again good sample for IUI, and again on day 21 leftb ovary with folicles 28,18 and 16mm... SO, why do I have resistance to ovulate? How Do I made a diagnosis of Unrupted Follicles Syndrome? Do I am doing something wrong? Is the patient candidate for in vitro? Thank you for your answers and help.....
