I'll pass on the interesting questions of whether it's of proven benefit for such a case, and only point out that it's not terribly difficult to weigh somebody over 300 lbs on a 300-lb scale, using the rubber-band technique. You will certainly lose some precision, but I would guess you can get within 5 lbs or so, if she's not over, say, 400.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
