I'm seeking some opinions for a woman living in N.Y. state till Dec. 31 and then moving to Zachery, La. First of all if anyone knows a good Ob. to refer her to. Secondly she is G3 P1, 13 wks by u/s on Dec 28, and has a uterine cyst est'd by her M.D. to be l0.5 cm in size that was seen on the u/s. The MD recommends removal within the next 3-6 wks and feels that would give her a 5% chance of pregnancy loss. Without surgery he gives her a 25-30% chance of having the cyst burst and losing the baby. She is reluctant to have surgery. She's 19yrs old.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
