There is no mistery here... The semen was never ejaculated because the guy simply didnīt "finish". Is that so strange? I donīt really know if this was because the couple was interrupted in their entertainment by an inapropiate visitor or simply because they decided it was enough with what they had had that night. Who knows? But I donīt really find any medical relevance in this fact... do you? Would there be any difference if the semen was *there*, I mean, *inside* the condom. Remember we where talking about posible infections not about posible conception. The woman was using oral contraceptives and besides, she was in her second day of menstruation... little range for getting pregnant, huh? Please tell me if there is something I canīt see about the fact of "retained condom with or without semen" Thanks for your interest and opinions.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
