I believe this was the conclusion of a study at USC. They studied all of their uterine ruptures and determined that if less than 18 minutes elapsed from bradycardia to DELIVERY then serious morbididty was eliminated.

My impression is that this in combination with the ACOG guidelines clearly mandates in-house anesthesia, OB, and an OR ready with appropriate personnel in-house to scrub and assist.. Agree?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
