Dear listeners,

this is supposed to be an international forum where the official language is english. Of course for most of you english is the mother tongue, but for a not unsignificant part of the listeners english is the second or even the third language, and sometimes medical abbreviations sound to them just like puzzling nonsense words.(e.g. AMA, American Medical Association /Advanced Maternal Age... ?) What I want to say is that many of us "foreigners" would appreciate a more restrictive use of abbreviations.

Take care everybody

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
