I have been a hospital Ob/Gyn nurse for several years and have recently been considering changing to ob/gyn office work. I was wondering if you could take a moment and let me know what responsibilities your office nurses have, how many R.N.'s and other support personnel you have for each doctor, and if you allow your office RN to do ultrasounds. I know that each office is different but I am curious about the amount of diversity there is between offices

Thanks Julie Sheehan RN

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
