Re: after the accreta?From: Bulent Potur (bpotur@superonline.com)Sat Aug 22 06:39:38 1998
First I would examine the uterus and adnexa with ultrasound, if no major intrauterine collection or adnexal cyst (unruptured follicle) I would opt for continued observation with endometritis treatment. In the mean time I would obtain serial bHCG determinations. If positive constantly or rising I woud consider Mtx treatment. And I also would keep in mind the possibility of mid cycle bleedings with low dose OCP's. I had a similarly bleeding patient past 2 months after C/S who responded nicely to conservative treatment and follow-up. Regards. Bulent Potur, M.D. Obgyn. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
