Glomerulonephritis.

Dr. Richard Bright in 1835 described acute and chronic bilateral non-suppurative inflammatory or degenerative renal diseases characterized by proteinuria and often by cylindruria dnd hematuria usually with hypertension and nitrogen retention. (Beeson and McDermott, Textbook of Medicine (old))
