If she were to have a VBAC without any problem it would be the RIGHT decision. If she were to have a catastophic uterine rupture it would have been the WRONG decision. It is hard to tell from the description if the doc cut the uterus upward or it tore downward. If it were the former, then she might have an anchor incision on the uterus. I think that it would be hard to defend the decision to labor if she were to have a serious complication...
