Re: low transverse c/sec with vertical extensionFrom: RomeGAgirl@aol.comMon Jun 29 16:46:48 1998
In a message dated 98-06-29 16:58:46 EDT, you write: << y question is this - Can I attempt a vaginal delivery or does this absolutely require a repeat section. This woman is in good health , no present obstetrical problems, and really desires a vaginal birth. I'm a CNM and would really like some input on this. My own feeling is that a 6cm extension is fairly small and this occurred 14 years ago. I'd like to proceed with the V-BAC. What do you think? Sara Liebling, CNM saralieb@aol.com 407-331-8333 >> Sara: as a CNM, this absolutely would not be your decision to make, even with a LTCS your ob/gyn back-up should be giving the ok for a TOL. M. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
