Re: Preeclampsia Lab PackageFrom: Robert Radnich (rradnich@dca.net)Fri Jun 26 21:31:20 1998
We have one that includes: CBC with Plt., AST/ALT. Uric Acid, Bun/Creatinine, 24 hr urine for CrCL and Total Protein. -----Original Message----- From: ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net [mailto:ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net]On Behalf Of Dean Huffman Sent: Friday, June 26, 1998 7:52 AM To: Multiple recipients of list Subject: Preeclampsia Lab Package As you know, Medicaid is forcing hospitals to drop lab panels such as "Chem20" and to institute specific panels, such as "electrolyte panel", etc. I was wondering... Does anybody have a "Preeclampsia Panel" of lab work? Such a panel might have SGOT, SGPT, uric acid, etc. If anybody has such a lab panel or protocol at their hospital, or if anybody would like to suggest such a panel, I would appreciate hearing from them. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
