How about CBC w/ manual diff looking for schistocytes and Burr bodies (platelets are included, of course), AST (SGOT), Uric acid, 24 hr urine for protein, ... What am I missing?

Good idea. Medicaid / medicare seems to be doing a lot of dictating these days. We have Liver panel, arthritis panel, CHF panel, prenatal panel, lipid panel, comprehensive metabolic panel, hepatitis panel, basic metabolic panel (mini chem).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
