The +3/5 means that the head is 3 cm below the level of the spines. The /5 means that I am really using cm. and that there are actually 5 cm between the spine and the outlet. For years and actually still many people in the US divide the distance into thirds and count + 3 as on the perineum. Dan

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
