So does putting them in the hospital for 3-4 days when they have screaming kids at home. Do you do this to make them feel better???

I support your opinion. I often follow both HCG and progesterone and have ordered progesterone supp. This is probably not cost effective and is certainly not evidenced based medicine, but it does make the patient feel better.
