Anyone who thinks he can perform more than a half-assed abdominoplasty through a Pffanensteil (extremely easily no less) has never seen a plastic surgeon perform an abdominoplasty. This is major surgery ( if done properly) and probably has more attendant risk than the hysterectomy which Joe wants to perform concomitantly. Yes, I have assisted on such procedures at the ime of a hysterectomy. Regards, Will

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
