Malcolm: Please enlighten us as to the warning by the Dept. of Health. Dan Breitkopf, MD University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, TX WOrd of warning. Our Dept. of Health recently issued a warning about problesm with these blind heating devices. Also bear in mind that (in UK anyway) the disposables cost 470 pounds sterling! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
