el et al, i've done over 200 pp tubals with zero pregnancies (ectopic or overwise). I have seen 1 iup and 1 ectopic referred from other docs. With the easy availability of continuous epidurals in labor, it now makes it especially convenient to proceed to pp tubal several hours after delivery. Like many others, I excise a 2cm segment of midportion, then tie the cut ends with silk. Cal

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
