Daily we see patients, seems especially prenatal patients, whose life style is detrimental to health or producing a healthy pregnancy. Do we not counsel these patients about behavioral changes? Have we not been successful in improving pregnancy outcome? Are these folks incapable of being educated, at least some of them? I have more faith in people I guess.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
