CAH and menstrual suppression?

I have a request from a young woman to try to suppress her (irregular) menstrual cycle. She has a 21-hydroxylase deficiency (on 'cortef'). Because of other disabilities she cannot deal with the menstrual flow. Is there a way to suppress her menstrual cycle safely? I believe she would be relatively unable to metabolize Depo-Provera because of her CAH, and the GnRH analogues are not a long term solution..?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
