blood product availability

It has happened in other forums....no one answers....there are some referrals to the AABB..I wrote to them...no answers. I think that the medico-legal implications are too much of a burden and I do understand. I'll will post it again anyway.

"Are there any guidelines and/or standards regarding the availabilty of blood products in a hospital setting? Let us say that a given hospital is doing 300 deliveries per month. What is the minimun/maximun time allowed to have compatible blood products available for emergency transfusion? "

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
