1. It does "pull" onto the anterior wall, but it is not dramatic 2. You've got a point. The procedure is made on purpose to antevert retroverted uterus (uteri?), but in these case where nothing can't be found but pelvic varices it is worth trying it if while doing the laparoscopy.
