Rumor has it that this insanity was started by Howard Stern, but whatever you may think of HS, this is just too cool to pass up.

People Magazine is running its 3rd Annual 50 Most Beautiful People poll. Yesterday, write-ins for "Hank the Angry, Drunken Dwarf" had him at #25 with 606 votes. This morning, Hank has garnered well over 40,000 votes and is whipping the pants off Leonardo DiCaprio for First Place -- plus, due to case variations and spelling, 2nd, 10th, 11th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th.

Please do your part! Go to:

http://www.pathfinder.com/people/50most/1998/vote/index.html

In the text box at the bottom right of the page, where it says "Or type in your choice" enter:

Hank the Angry, Drunken Dwarf

The form is case sensitive, so cut and paste for best results. You may have to wait to get in, as the page is getting slammed really hard. You know what to do: melt that sucker *down*!

Another website has sprung up overnight dedicated to Hank "Hero of the People," which includes some fairly amusing stuff:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
