What is she referring to? Are there industry or US guidelines on this

I am not aware of any guidelines in the industry, nor any scientific information that indicates any association between misacarriages/complications and first trimester flying.

My personal opinion would be that the greatest danger (and as it is, it still is very small) comes from the notoriously poor air quality in airplanes, and the increased exposure to large numbers of potentially infectious persons.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
