I know that this has been on the list before, but does anyone have any experience, references, etc. with using Cytotec as a ripening agent vaginally, and monitoring intermitently, as opposed to continuously? In other words, a couple of hours after a dose, with a good strip, can the patient get up and walk, leave the hosptial and return for the next dose (a la Prostaglandin supps)? Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
