Britain is lagging behind other countries in reducing mother-to-children infection and is not taking advantage of therapies to protect new-born babies, they said in a report. Doctors want the simple test to be available in all postnatal clinics throughout Britain, and said women in areas of the country where there is a high prevalence of the disease should be encouraged to have it. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
