You described perfectly the technique. It was a western technique allright but came back to us from Vienna. As I wrote in another post I use a large blunt dissector in lieu of a Deschamps Needle, which is used on the right as well as on the left. Daniel Dargent from Lyon uses a single Deschamps for both sides.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
