Put the images up!!!

What a great opportunity to watch this as it develops, and to learn about it! To my knowledge, no one has ever documented the natural history of an accreta as it progresses. From the first image, I would guess that this pregnancy is about 15 weeks Postmenstrual. How often will you be able to put up images? Also, any chance of using color Doppler? Be sure and give us your impressions and the ages as you go. It will be interesting to see if the "numerous placental lakes" that others have described develop near the abnormal attachment (placenta looks smooth, homogenous to me in these images). This is a great case! Not only do I think no one has ever followed a developing accreta (at least never published to my knowledge), this use of the http://wwweb allow anyone in the world to watch and learn as you put up the images!! This is very exciting... much better than Soap Operas! Thanks, I can't wait until the next installment!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
