>> No question that current residents know how to use, and are comfortable using the internet. Have you been in a medical library lately? In the ones I've visited, the card catalog is now html documents searchable on the inter (or intra) net that the library uses. I think residents are underrepresented here only because for them the web is still mostly a tool. Most of them don't have time to "schmooz" online (or if they do so, they do it in other forums to escape medicine) and they are in stimulating enough environments (i.e. not yet clinically isolated) that they don't have the need to "talk" after hours that we do. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
