These extra US must not take place of regular ones. US has been widely used in France, because charged and reimbursed by Social Security. It happened that some women had 10 to 13 US for a normal pregnancy!!! Some severe malformations have been missed (unique ventricule, amelia...). The way you use seems the good one.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
