hi,

an S/D ( or A/B ) ratio of 7:1 suggests almost no end-diastolic flow. to quote the old dunkin donuts advert, "time to make the donuts!"

have one quick question, did you not do an NST? strongly suggest that an NST be performed along with your biophysical. additionally, with regard to your patient presented, keep in mind that glucose STIMULATES fetal breathing. therefore, i am not sure how re-assuring the presence of fetal breathing is in light of poor glucose control.

good luck!
