Douglas,

1. I was the first thinking of post op complications 2. Physical examination was in favour of something running. RLQ was as painful as the rest of abdomen. I thought of a bowel perforation when I went back in. 3. I'm rather a quick guy on appies, this time I didn't see it was endometriosic, I was too focused on the pelvic endo. Assuming I saw it I think I would have left it alone (big & subserous), and would probably have planned something after a GnRh analog course.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
