Dear list mates,

One case

30 YO woman operated on wednesday for a fertility check-up. - hysteroscopy + polyp ablation - laparoscopy: stage 4 endometriosis (blocked cul-de-sac, right endometrioma, complete pelvic obstruction on the left) => prudent liberation of a few adhesions (no scissors, no cautery)

thursday: everything allright, good pulse, no fever. Patient tired, she wants to stay

Friday morning, Temp 38.3°C Friday afternoon Temp 39°C, painful abdomen with ballooning; WBC 7000, CRP 83; KUB important pneumoperitoneum. What's going on?
