You aren't the only one who gets strange looks from L&D staff etc. with the EASI technique. I have used it many times in select patients who I feel quite strongly (despite lack of randomization/RTCs etc) were spared the old Bard/Parker because of it.

They all laugh until you get a nice vaginal delivery, while the naysayers are hysterotomizing (is that a verb?) away.
