it has a modular bay which holds 1 of 3 things: 1. 2nd battery (I have 2 of these to sell) 2. floppy drive 3. plastic protector - you can use this to make the machine lighter. with 2 batteries, i get a solid 4 hours of battery life. so with the third battery you can get a total of 6 hours. Note that the additional batteries added a considerable amount of cost to the price of the system ($150 each)

Includes a lot of software - office 97, spss, norton utils, etc
