Dear Shankar, ------------------

------------------ I recently reviewed a study of 40 some 47xxx individuals. They generally have normal intelligence with IQ ranging from 85-112. They have some delay in developmental milestones and trouble with interpersonal relationships and socialization skills. They have a slightly greater than average incidence of psychosis as adults (I don't know whether this was schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or what). They have normal fertility, are of slightly greater than average height, and have a slightly diminished head circumference. I'll see if I can get the reference or you.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
