Dr Ribot,

Thanks for your interest. I have all ATL machines 3-3000, 1-5000 and 1-1000 in our Fetal Diagnostic Center.

I can use the Disklink system that comes out of the ATL and I also have an image acquisition station made by 3M (now Imation).

The HDI 1000 has a floppy disk which can save TIFF format images and I use that to capture images or in the other machines I use ATL's own DEFF format. This is simply an extension of TIFF images and can be read by most graphical image programs by changing the DEF extension to TIF.

I wrote several programs to acquire and save the images into an HP 7200 i CDR Drive.

I hope this gives you an overview.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
