All the medical staffs including the paediatric surgeons were attending the meeting. The corner stone is to answer two questions; First, If this baby is delivered handicapped, his parents could cope with him or not?, Second, What is the medical and surgical advice received from the paediatric surgeons and the Diabetic team regarding the diabetic status. My view is you have to make a big discuusion with the parents, paediatric surgeons, diabetic team and social workers and try to clarify everything for them. By the way, in my hospital the team with the parents decided to terminate the pregnancy by Elective Cesaerean section. Baby is not good and had many major operations with very bad prognosis. By the way, I am a medical staff at El-Minya University Hospital and one of your students who are and will be very grateful for you for ever.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
