resignationFrom: Deborah J. Wage FNP, CNM (wagedj@ctrvax.Vanderbilt.Edu)Tue Mar 31 07:53:07 1998
I have resigned from my position as clinician and Perinatal Director of my community health center. Many of you have known about some of the difficulties I have faced over the past year or so. I resigned, basically, on principle since I no longer could support a newly proposed agenda regarding the nature of perinatal services being offered. Seems like decisions in health care these days are never made with the welfare of patients in mind. So, I am a free agent come July. Condolences are welcome. Money and flowers may be sent to my office (will make the adminstration nuts). Expense paid vacation will be accepted to reward my 4 years of dedication to the underserved gone up in smoke overnight. Or.....if you know of any positions or one that can be created, please keep me in mind. Seriously now, I would consider relocating, but would love to stay in Tennessee. Thanks, -- Deborah Wage, FNP, CNM

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
