At my hospital the pediatricians the circs. Everywhere else we did them. I am happy with the present arrangement. Myer

Just wondering. We don't do them in my residency program but I know some do. Anyone know any data on national numbers for who is doing them?

I personally think it should be a peds practice - after all if I get a complication who is going to handle it? Who decides whether the baby is ok for it? Peds on both counts as far as I'm concerned...

BTW, if you are anti-circumcision please leave the comments at home or send them via private email. This is not a request for such discussion I just want to know what others are doing out there - right or wrong in your mind.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
